Security has become a way of life for everyone and single and multi-modal methods of transportation are at the heart of security concerns. Trending and analysis of real-time field and sensor data available from transportation field devices combined with external information feeds, can provide better determination of the cause of a failure and initiate appropriative corrective measures whether it is a routine shutdown, power outage, normal device error, isolated criminal activity or sudden terrorist attack. The Intelligent Response System identifies whether a field technician would be dispatched or must additional first responder resources – police, fire, and bomb squad – be deployed. The system will recognize an event alert by a single or multiple devices and coupled with other sensor or alert activity in the close proximity, identify and submit decision information to first responders or routine maintenance.
