grow and the number of components and replacements parts become exhaustive, a knowledge base can be used to track all repairs
down to the Part and exact Serial ID. Technicians can easily track all prior repairs including, replacement parts for each
unique piece of equipment in the field or for each Part type. Automated tracking of failures by component and product can
feed into quality and risk management programs such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
The Repair Center can pick up a Part, Model, or Serial ID from a bar code along with information from automatic testing equipment and feed that to the
